Bauhaus and the New Typography

German art school that operated from 1912 - 1933, known for the Bauhaus style that uses simple 2D geometric shapes like rectangles and spheres. Work was done in Buildings, furniture, and fonts. The founder of the Bauhaus was Walter Gropius.
